LCTN, INFO, NPC_, RACE, NAVI, QUST, REFR, WRLD.Also pre-existing or new records were added. There are 2 HAZD groups, the second one has no records.ĭawnguard The following had field order changes and updates.6 record types have a GRUP but no records: CLDC, HAIR, RGDL, SCPT, SCOL, PWAT.Unlike Oblivion, WRLD groups in Skyrim no longer contain ROAD records. However, in the CELL, WRLD and DIAL top groups, each main record can be followed by one or more child groups which contain additional records of a different type. For most top groups, only the matching record types are present. Whether the game engine expects this order is unknown, but it's probably safer to use this order than not.Īll top groups contain records matching their label (e.g., the GMST top group contains GMST records). In Skyrim.esm, the top, or highest level groups are stored in the following order: GMST, KYWD, LCRT, AACT, TXST, GLOB, CLAS, FACT, HDPT, HAIR, EYES, RACE, SOUN, ASPC, MGEF, SCPT, LTEX, ENCH, SPEL, SCRL, ACTI, TACT, ARMO, BOOK, CONT, DOOR, INGR, LIGH, MISC, APPA, STAT, SCOL, MSTT, PWAT, GRAS, TREE, CLDC, FLOR, FURN, WEAP, AMMO, NPC_, LVLN, KEYM, ALCH, IDLM, COBJ, PROJ, HAZD, SLGM, LVLI, WTHR, CLMT, SPGD, RFCT, REGN, NAVI, CELL, WRLD, DIAL, QUST, IDLE, PACK, CSTY, LSCR, LVSP, ANIO, WATR, EFSH, EXPL, DEBR, IMGS, IMAD, FLST, PERK, BPTD, ADDN, AVIF, CAMS, CPTH, VTYP, MATT, IPCT, IPDS, ARMA, ECZN, LCTN, MESG, RGDL, DOBJ, LGTM, MUSC, FSTP, FSTS, SMBN, SMQN, SMEN, DLBR, MUST, DLVW, WOOP, SHOU, EQUP, RELA, SCEN, ASTP, OTFT, ARTO, MATO, MOVT, HAZD, SNDR, DUAL, SNCT, SOPM, COLL, CLFM, REVB Other cell/world-related groups have a wide array of small to large values that are not Form IDs.Interior cells have a value of either 0 or 0xCCCCCCCC.Topic children have single-byte values or 0xCCCCCCCC.All top-level groups have a 0 here, with the exception of CELL, which can have a 1 in some add-ons.The values stored here are significantly different than those used in records and appear to be a 32-bit value rather than two 16-bit values. The high byte is the user id (if any) that currently has the form checked out. The low byte is the user id that last had the form checked out. Skyrim SE: Bits are used to represent each part, with a two-digit year: 0bYYYYYYYMMMMDDDDD.To derive the correct values, use the following formulae, where Y is the single-digit year, M is the month number, and HB is the high byte of the value: Lower values can be seen in Skyrim.esm, likely corresponding to older records held over from Oblivion where values of 1-12 represented 2003 (see the Oblivion version of this page for specifics). That value is offset, however, so the range is nominally 13-132, representing dates from January 20x4 through December 20x3. Skyrim: The low byte is the day of the month and the high byte is a combined value representing the month number and last digit of the year times 12.If you subsequently save, the group will be written without the ignore markings. In short, the label field of a group is not reliable. This mislabeling has no effect on record loading. The ignore flag interferes with what should ordinarily be in the label field (e.g., "HAIR" becomes "HQIR"). In the CK Details view, you can mark a group as ignored, but the CK ignores this setting and reads the group anyway.Format depends on group type (see next field). This is in contrast to records and fields, whose sizes do not include their header sizes.Size of the entire group, including the group header (24 bytes). In addition to this, subgroups for WRLD and CELLS provide some useful structural information (e.g., the division of cell data into persistent and non-persistent references). GRUPs are collections of records, and are used to improve scanning of files to make it easier to skip over records that the reading program is not interested in.

Obituaries and Death Notices in Pinal County, Arizona In the dim light, with the Japanese sub less than 15 feet away, the third bit of luck came into play. Nishino, unable to see whether the torpedo had hit the ship, moved in closer to check it out. Two were the darkness and the torpedo’s explosion away from the ship. Fragments from the torpedo also fell on our deck.’Ī combination of three things saved the freighter and her crew. There was a huge shower accompanied by smoke and flames. The torpedo went directly beneath us, didn’t even touch the hull and continued beyond. It was too late to do more than just wait for our destiny. Seconds later, as Sinnes recalled, ‘We saw the telltale wake of a torpedo coming directly at us amidships. Fragments fell to the deck.’Ĭaptain Nishino, unsatisfied with the results of the shelling from his pitching deck, ordered a torpedo fired at 70 yards. ‘One, apparently aimed at our radio antenna, burst in the air above the stern. ‘Five shots were fired at us,’ Captain Sinnes later recalled. As crewmen began tearing the canvas covers from the lifeboats, the Japanese opened up. Moments before Samoa crossed the bow of I-17, First Mate John Lehtonen, on watch at the time, spotted a dim light from the approaching enemy sub and yelled down to the captain, ‘A submarine is attacking us!’ Captain Nels Sinnes, who had been asleep, sat bolt upright in his bunk, quickly pulled on his pants and shirt, grabbed a life jacket and yelled into the crew’s quarters for everyone to report to their lifeboat stations. Since he was allotted only one torpedo per merchant ship, Nishino decided to open the attack with his 5.5-inch deck gun and use a torpedo only if necessary. Kozo Nishino, captain of the 2,500-ton sub, ordered an attack on the American freighter Samoa, which was on her way to San Diego with a load of lumber. and I-10 off San Diego.Ībout an hour before dawn on December 18, I-17 was moving quietly along the surface 15 miles off Cape Mendocino when one of her lookouts spotted a ship approaching. The remaining five subs, assigned to locations that had been deemed less crucial, would nonetheless see the most action: I-9 off Cape Blanco, Ore. Four subs, I-19, I-15, I-25 and I-26, were ordered to the most important locations: I-19 off Los Angeles Harbor, I-15 off San Francisco Bay, I-25 off the mouth of the Columbia River and I-26 off the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the important waterway leading into and out of the port of Seattle. The nine subs were strategically located–based on prewar intelligence–to give them the best opportunity to attack the shipping lanes most commonly used by American merchantmen. With only slight differences, all had a range of approximately 15,000 miles, a surface speed of 23 1/2 knots, carried as many as 18 torpedoes, mounted a 5.5-inch deck gun, were over 355 feet long and carried a complement of 94 to 100 men. coast were all launched a year or two before the war began. The nine submarines sent to shell the U.S. After expending all of their 5.5-inch shells, they were to retire to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. As a climax to the operation, around midnight on Christmas Eve all nine subs were to shell selected U.S. Nine of the 12 subs were ordered to pursue and sink the enemy carrier, then take up positions at designated sites off the Pacific coast and begin attacking American merchant ships. On December 10, the Japanese learned that an American Lexington-class aircraft carrier was heading for the U.S. So successful was the December 7 surprise attack that for two days not a single American ship was spotted at sea. Pacific Fleet ships if they broke out of Pearl Harbor the next day. Twelve I-type submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy’s 1st Submarine Squadron had taken up position in Hawaiian waters by the evening of December 6, 1941, anticipating an attack on U.S. It was the first and only time during the three years and eight months of war to come that more than one Japanese submarine appeared at the same time off the American coast. west coast attacked eight American merchant ships, of which two were sunk and two damaged. What is the goal that you would like to obtain in the next one or three years?.Instead of providing solutions, make the questions: This is how we work and in my humble opinion, a must!!! I changed the “I” into “we”, in this article, because all coaching programs with companies are generally designed, shared and delivered by a team of coaches and not by a single professional. Don’t forget of course to build the rapport and use your intuition when needed. As coaches, we have two important muscles that we’ve developed and we should use in this situation as well: active listening and powerful questions. When we start the conversation with a potential new client, we should bear in mind to use and adapt the coaching approach with them during the meeting. And very few of them have in place a tailored program that really helps the team. Most of them confirm that they have already a training program in place, but they are not sure on what the results are. Some of them don’t know exactly what to answer. When I meet a new HR or L & D Director or Manager, after the icebreaker I love to start with this simple, short and direct question: What helps your teams / organisation the most to move forward? When I start the conversation with a new prospect, a potential future client, with the idea to offer our coaching products to new organisations, sometimes I love to mention Galileo’s quote, when I see that they are really sceptical about Coaching and Team Coaching. This phrase was connected to his strong belief that the Earth moved around the Sun. It is a phrase attributed to one of the most famous Italian mathematicians and physicists: Galileo Galilei. And yet it moves, in Italian “ E pur si muove! ”. You can then manage all your projects in one centralized hub – rather than using a separate productivity app and a task management tool. Time Doctor also has a powerful Chrome extension that lets you track time directly from project management software like: Powerful Chrome Extension and Integrations
I attribute the higher alpha error probability to the small sample size (n=98). However, the predictor displaying a f square value of around 0.10 still displays insignificant t and p values. Applying these adjusted specifications, the three predictors showing the largest f square values now have acceptable t values and p values (t values above 1.291 and p values below 0.20). Going back to the t statistics generated by the bootstrapping procedure. On the other hand, there is a 1% probability that I will fail to detect an effect as low as f square=0.13, if the effect is indeed present. So, there is a 20% probability that I will erroneously reject the null hypothesis (=no effect) for effects as low as f square=0.13. Then my results makes more sense, compared to the bootstrapping results in SmartPLS: Consequently, if I change my settings in G*power to, say: In general, 0.05/0.80 (Alpha err prob/1-Beta err prob) are used as conventional criteria in the social sciences. At least, that's my understanding of power analysis. If you accept a more liberal boundary for the one you should take on a more conservative approach for the other. Okay, after sleeping on it I realized a possible way to go about the problem described above.Ĭommonly, the relation between type 1/alpha errors ("false positives") and type 2/beta errors ("false negatives") is viewed as a trade-off. The one largest effect (f square = 0.27) displays a t-statistic of 1.563 and a p-value of 0.119.Ĭan anybody tell me how to interpret these differences between G*power and SmartPLS? Is the t statistic (in relation to the critical t value) more "important" than the G*power calculation of the power of the effect sizes? However, when I bootstrap the f square values in SmartPLS (500 subsamples), the t statistics are not even close to the critical t boundary. Based on the previous G*power calculation, I interpret these results as statistically significant and with sufficient statistical power based on the criteria I've specified. Running the PLS algorithm in SmartPLS v.3.2.6 results in four paths with f square values above 0.082 (namely, 0.27, 0.25, 0.23, and 0.10). Type of power analysis: Sensitivity: Compute required effect size - given alpha, power, and sample size Statistical test: Linear multiple regression: Fixed model, single regression coefficient I use the following settings in G*Power 3.1.9.2: I am interested in the statistical power of the predictors' effects on the dependent variable. My dataset has 98 respondents and I have 7 constructs predicting one specific dependent variable. I have a problem relating to the statistical power and critical t boundaries for f square values (effect size). Great to see that there is a thread on G*power here already. With five predictors, this would require you to have a sample size of 248 for a power of 95% to find the 0.2 coefficient significant. If you have an expectation for the standardized coefficient of 0.2 and an overall R² of 0.25, you would get an effect size f² of 0.053. It would require a standardized coefficient of roughly 0.275 if your overall R² is at about 0.5 and a standardized coefficient of 0.336 if your overall R² is at 0.25. Unfortunately, this effect size is not very straightforward to determine. It is the contribution to the R² by the predictor (R²inlcuded - R²excluded) / (1 - R²included). There you have to set the effect size f², which is the same effect size that is reported in SmartPLS under f². Hence, you might want to choose the "Linear multiple regression: Fixed model, single regression coefficient" as the method in G*Power. Many researchers are more interested in the significance of single effects instead of the variance explained by the overall regression equation. Hence, with 138 cases you will find a model with an R² of 0.15 significant at 95% of the time. It assesses the significance of the R² at the given effect size level (e.g., effects size 0.15 = R²). The test above is for the F test of a regression. The questions is, which test is the one you are interested in. |
